Bio-what? Whether they call them biologicals, biostimulants, or biofertilizers, there is a rapidly growing market of specialty products with a wide range of product types and intended outcomes to their use. This talk will briefly review the different terminology associated with this market, helping to open the broader discussion on the different categories of biological products. With a review of the who and the what of biologicals, we will wrap up with some key research findings that can provide agronomists and farmers with best management practices associated with the how of using biologicals in row crop systems.
