All shipping papers for hazardous materials are required to have a phone number listed that is answered by a person who is knowledgeable of the product being shipped and how to properly handle an emergency incident involving the product. This phone number must be answered by a person (not a voice mail) whenever the product is in transit, 24 hours a day.

To assist members in comply with this DOT requirement, MCPR has teamed up with West Central Environmental Consultants (WCEC) to provide this 24/7 phone number service at a very reasonable cost.

The service runs from January 1 through December 31 of the same year.
