Work hard, play hard. Right?

The Minnesota Crop Production Retailers (MCPR) is counting down the days until its inaugural After Hours Casino Night hosted by the Minnesota Certified Crop Advisors (MCCA) on Dec. 11, 2024, in conjunction with the 2024 CPM Short Course and MCPR Trade Show at the Minneapolis Hilton hotel. After a day chock full of educational sessions, kick back and play a variety of casino games while networking with peers.

“We are adding some fun with an After Hours Casino Night hosted by the Minnesota Certified Crop Advisors,” MCPR Executive Director Lee Helgen said. “This should be a great opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues.”

Provided by Ace High Casino, Inc., games will include Blackjack, Texas Hold ’em, Three-Way Action Poker and a Cup O Luck table. With the $35 admission fee, attendees will receive a stack of chips, door prize drawing tickets and drink tickets.

Proceeds from the event will support MCPR’s mission to promote the proper use, storage and application of crop production inputs in an environmentally safe and agronomically sound manner; and to support regulatory and legislative initiatives which benefit retailers, manufacturers, distributors and custom applicators of crop production inputs.

Additionally, there will be opportunities for attendees to upgrade their experience.

“With a contribution to the MN Crop PAC, you can upgrade to VIP or High Roller status, where you will receive extra chips, drink tickets and door prize drawing tickets,” Helgen said.

By supporting the MN Crop PAC, contributors are taking a big step in delivering financial support to lawmakers and legislative candidates who are actively championing the protection of our state’s ag retail industry on various policies and regulatory issues. The agriculture industry is constantly navigating regulations, policies and market fluctuations which is why it’s imperative to unite as an industry and ensure ag’s interests are represented when important policy decisions are made in St. Paul and Washington, D.C.

Remember – all PAC donations must come from an individual. Company funds cannot be used as Minnesota law prohibits companies and corporations from contributing to political action committees. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to network, support the agriculture industry and, most importantly, have fun!
